Judy J ShermaN  | Founder & PrincipAL

Judy began her career as a labor and employment lawyer, where she worked in the private sector with leaders of the restaurant and hotel industries. She holds an LL.M. in Labor Law.  Building on her devotion to the arts and her academic and professional study of the dynamics of the workplace, she launched Art At Work (formerly j fine art) in 2011 to focus on the interplay between art and corporate culture.

Judy has been an advocate and active member of the local art community for over 15 years. She has served as an Executive Committee and Board Member of the Washington Project for the Arts and a member of the Hirshhorn Collectors' Council, CREW DC, and CoreNet Global. She has also curated several events including the WPA Art Auction GalaHickok Cole Art Night, GMU MFA Exhibit, and Smith Center for Healing and the Arts Alchemical Vessels.

She is known in the community for being creative, strategic, and passionate about her work and family. When not advising organizational leaders on art in the workplace, Judy enjoys theater, literature, global travel, the NYT crossword puzzle, and Nine Inch Nails.
